Ellery was not a fan of fireworks (not the real kind even---just done at home), but she enjoyed the day for 4th of July. She and Elan rode in a firetruck in a parade for Larry Maxey's campaign. She enjoyed waving at everyone! She had fun swimming afterwards at the Hicks' house.  It was a fun day!

Dauphin Island Beach vacation 2012--this vacation was a little different. Tia Kate helped us celebrate Lito's 60th birthday by bringing some mustaches, so we all have pictures from that!

Since we were evacuated from the beach house for storm surge water flowing under the house (and potentially into the cars), we left with lots of water covering the road and headed to higher ground in Mobile, AL. Here is a picture from the hotel bench.
