Lots of fun activities after naps on Easter afternoon--an egg hunt in our yard where the eggs were really hidden (not just thrown in the yard) and a ride on a horse with Clara

We did our best to get some family Easter pics before church. Ellery has a dress from our friend Isabel in Chile. Isabel has a friend who made it. I made a hairbow to match. Everyone at church said it was beautiful!

Easter morning was fun to check out the goodies from "The rabbit" as Elan calls him. Ellery got a bouncy hopping ball, flip flops, a shirt, and a few special food items. She had chosen to use the baseball Easter basket to leave out. Tomboy maybe?

Egg dying was really fun this year because the kids could do it themselves. We bought something to put the egg in, drop coloring on it, and hit the top to spin it around. It worked pretty well! They won't eat the eggs, but they had fun coloring them.

Country Roads by John Denver is a going to bed song that Anthony sings with the kids. Ellery is especially funny when singing it. Sorry you have to hear Anthony's background, but it is funny to watch. I accidentally turned it off in the middle so there are two videos of it. Ellery started off with a little attitude but decided she would sing.

This year Ellery understood even better what it meant to hunt eggs. We went to an egg hunt the day before Palm Sunday. It was rather cold outside, but it was fun. The place where we went was beautiful, and the kids enjoyed eating lunch, doing crafts, and of course, hunting eggs.
