A few videos from Christmas day...

Christmas 2010--we enjoyed some snow at Noni and Lito's house, although Ellery rode the sled one time and wanted to watch from then on. It wasn't a bad ride, but she is just no daredevil. She didn't mind posing for most pictures, but you will see a bad face or two when she was just not sure about the whole snow thing. She enjoyed her new presents, and she enjoyed visiting with the Kalanys. The biggest thing she seems to have gotten for Christmas is words--she is using 2-3 word sentences and trying to talk as much as she can.

Christmas sisters--Ellery adores her little sister, and they both wore their Christmas dresses to church yesterday. Had to snap these pictures while they were both cooperating.

Ellery's visit to Santa--on Saturday Dec 4th we went to Elan's school to visit Santa and have breakfast. Ellery was scared at first but Santa had some good tricks with some bells and a book. She was willing to at least let mommy get out of the picture but not willing to sit on his lap. Daddy took one other picture the other night, and this face was too good not to post. Look at those eyes!

Ellery had a lot of fun when Noni and Lito came to visit after the birth of Ellia. They decorated cookies together. She has some nice morning hair in one picture.

The first video shows Ellery most recent boo-boo on her eye when she pulled a stocking hanger down on herself. Christmas decorations can be hazardous! It also gives a glimpse into her talking these days which is funny at times. The other videos are of the new playset the kids got for Christmas. Anthony had a fun weekend putting it together. Thanks to the grandparents for the great gift!

Ellery was in a better mood for picture taking when we went trick or treating house to house. The first time she had on her costume she was not too interested in pictures, but this time she was saying "cheese" and smiling for the camera. She got the hang of going house to house and trying to say thank you. She could say the treat part of trick or treat but not the trick part. Her brother did pretty well at walking with her and helping her. So sweet!

Ellery enjoyed the new see saw daddy made too. She liked to watch too, and she cuddled with her daddy for a few minutes which made some sweet pictures, but she was ready to ride with her brother as well!

Sweet siblings--one morning this past week when both kids got up early, they watched a few minutes of TV. It was a picture perfect moment!

Halloween fun--Ellery was not in the best mood when we first put on her snowflake costume so she isn't smiling too much. She thought she was Frosty like her brother, but maybe that is because she can say Frosty and not snow. She enjoyed the pumpkin carving and kept saying "see" because she wanted to look in the pumpkin. At trunk or treat she enjoyed another baby (baby lamb) as long as the little girl did not pull her hair. The tractor hay ride was a hit too! Looking forward to a fun week!

This morning Ellery came into the kitchen with the glasses on (though they were upside down at the time) and the bracelet, her blankie, and her bag. She did it all on her own, so it was a picture perfect moment. Her daddy calls her Hollywood in the glasses, so she was saying "ha-woo". The other pictures are from yesterday when they went on a "moto" ride. She loves to do that as well!
