Gracias Isabel! This sweater came from our Chilean friend, Isabel. Ellery loves watching her brother, so I included a picture of that too.

Do I look better in a hat? Ellery's hair is so light that I think she looks cuter in a hat. The first few pictures show her in a handmade sweater, made by a friend in Virginia who was a college friend of Ellery's Noni. The last picture shows us enjoying a day outside. You can see the bubbles floating by (thanks to daddy), but Ellery is really focused on eating the toy! Forget bubbles!
This week has brought two bottom teeth, almost rolling over, and eating Cheerios and small pieces of bread.

What happens when you have an older brother--you want to reach for monster trucks and you get baseball caps put on your head! I never could catch a good picture of either of these, but Elan put a cap on her head. It was funny!

Easter Fun!

A few pictures of Ellery in her dress and with her brother, and then the fun...eating the Easter basket of goodies! She enjoyed watching her brother paint the driveway from her stroller, and the video shows something we figured out that she likes--slapping the bed beside her. Everyone will want to hear the baby giggles...no other sound like it!

6 months old! Ellery celebrated her half birthday on the 71st birthday of her Grandma Dee. No, her hair is not red though it looks that way in many pictures. Her hair is coming in white blond, and the dark from birth is basically all gone. She weighed in at 16 lbs 15 oz at the doctor, and she was 25 1/4 inches long. This puts her at 60th percentile for weight and 22nd percentile for height. Once she starts moving, maybe her height will be the high number and weight will go down! Everyone keeps saying she looks just like her daddy!

Boxing anyone? This last picture looks like Miss Ellery is ready for a fight! Her great-Granny and Pappy gave her this outfit, so the picture opportunity was there. She still isn't rolling over, but she stretches to get things. Yesterday was the first time she has put her toes in her mouth. She has been pulling up on her toes, but this was the first time she tried to eat them. She thinks her brother is hysterical, and the last few days she has been giggling when he just walks in front of her. She will be 6 months old next week and will share her half birthday with Grandma Dee!
