Ellery has lots of Mexican buddies now that we have been to Tijuana. A teen boy, Bernardo, was always willing to play with her. The little girls we sponsor, Romina, Margarita, and Rebeca, also had fun with her. One little girl gave her a red bracelet that worked better as a chew toy. Ellery was a good baby and did OK adjusting to the different time zones and different environment. During the week in Mexico, she got really good at rolling over and is now wanting to roll all over the floor. She also learned to make the sound "ma-ma" even though she doesn't know that means mama!

8 months old...Ellery turned 8 months last Saturday, June 6th. Hard to believe! She spends a lot of time in her wagon, and never seems to mind, so we took the pictures there. Yes, I had to put a white barrette in her hair, the little amount of hair that there is. The pictures really show some of her different looks and express the personality she has. The video at the end is her in the Johnny Jump Up. We wanted to capture her squeals but didn't manage that this time. She can really do some high-pitched squealing!

First pool fun...it has been a rainy May, but June has started off hot. We are waiting to put our pool up until we return from Mexico, so we used the baby pool. Ellery enjoyed it and splashed, until she did a face plant in the water. I think she will learn to like it.

May 12th-I am a little behind on posts, but this picture shows how well Ellery can sit by herself. She enjoys Elan's toys as much as her own, as you can see from the fire engine. Most of the time, she is a happy girl!
